Light up your Plant ( with VIDEO)

Viride - from latin green is a unique collection of experimental luminaries designed by Barcelona-based designers Álvaro Goula and Pablo Figuera. They keep the plants survive in indoor by bringing together two elements: artificial lighting and vegetation in a single object.

来自巴塞罗那设计工作室的Álvaro Goula和goula figuera最近完成了一项实验灯具的设计—“Viride”（来自拉丁语中的“绿”）。这项实验由我们日常生活中常见却又格格不入的两种元素：人照光和植物所组合而成的。

Indoor plants usually survive with natural lighting from outdoor, while different amount and quality of light are required according to different type of plants. However, there are always lack of natural light source in the design of modern house, which is an essential for indoor plants. Thus, the technologies in Viride turn the artificial light into one of an element to grow the plants in indoor space without a single ray of sunlight.

植物生存在室内空间的首要条件便是依靠窗口等，把足够的自然光线从室外引进并赖以生存，而不同种类的植物所需的光的数量和质量都有所不同。然而，现代家居的设计却缺少了这个基本的要素，往往室内的照明都依赖着人造光而非自然光。所以，先进的科技让现在的人造光也拥有了豢养植物的能力与条件，即使缺少阳光的照射，植物也能依靠人造光在室内茁壮成长。

The collection made up of three different types of luminaries that are designed to fit specific plants' morphologies. These sculptural designs act as planters while ensure the plants get sufficient amount of light from its LED panels. The LED lights turn off and on periodically according to how much light the plants needed.

而由goula figuera设计的Viride是由三个不同照明器所组成以符合不同需求的植物形态。而Viride实际上便是一个培植器皿同时也由器皿上的提供了光源以确保植物得以获取足够的光，而每一个LED灯板将能够依据植物对光的需求而定期自动启动和关闭。
